Solar Thermal

Solar thermal systems heat water for a variety of uses in the home – as a source of hot water in the home, to heat the pool water, or even to help heat the home itself if a radiant heating system is in place. For water heated for home use – as hot water or as radiant heating, the solar thermal system should be combined with a backup system such as a gas storage tank water heater for cloudy days, for days when there is increased hot water demand, and for very cold climates when used as radiant heating.
